EVANS Arthur Peacefully on 11th January, Syd of Penarth, much loved father of David, Gaynor, Mark & Paul. He will be sadly missed by all his family. Resting at Penarth Funeral Directors, Hickman Road Funeral Home until the service at the Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry on Monday 26th January at 10.15 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations may be sent to the Stroke Association, Green Meadow Spring Business Park, Cae Gwyrdd, Tongwynlais, Cardiff. CF15 7AB.

Dad never a day goes bye that you are not thought of and greatly missed. Fathers day is a special day that you will be in our thoughts. It was so sudden that you were taken from us and this makes it all the harder to accept. You were laid to rest near to us in the spot you called Tweetie Bird.

A great man and father-in-law, the first time I met Syd, he told me I should get to the gym! I listened albeit some years later. Good bye for now Syd, I'll be seeing you again someday.
