JONES Vernon Passed away peacefully at his home in Sir Ivor Place, Dinas Powys on 3rd April 15 aged 90. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Marie-Simone, children Linda, David, Monnie and Alan along with his 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, family and friends. Vernon served the cause of freedom during his Royal Air Force service in WWII and continued public service as a Dinas Powys Community Councillor (Chairman in later years), also a past member of the Cardiff Police Choir and the Dinas Powys Rugby Football Club.
