GAMBLE William John Alexander (Lex) Peacefully after a short illness, at the University Hospital of Wales, On June 17th 2016, Lex passed away. He will be greatly missed by his lifelong pal, Pam, his sister Lillian, brother George and all his nieces and nephews. Resting at James Summers & Son Lavernock Court, Lavernock Road, Penarth CF64 5UP until the funeral service on Wednesday 6th July 2016 at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road East, Barry at 11.00am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Injured Jockeys Fund, 15 King’s Court, Willie Snaith Road, Newmarket CB8 7SG.

LEX was always a very cheerful individual, who was always ready for a joke. He often made my visits to Llandough Hospital easier with his friendly manner Having known LEX for more than 50 years, I know how much he will be missed. My thoughts are with PAM and the family.
