So many memories of Uncle Bernard all of them involving his sense of humour, a beaming smile and kind words. When he was in the room there was always laughter. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family at this sad time. Love Shaun, Fiona, Rachel, Mike and Bonnie xxx

I worked with Bernie for many years at Gabalfa , and he shared my car on a daily basis so I had the chance to know him really well. He was a complete character and he gave his many friends a lot of joy and amusement. I trusted him totally and he did various projects for me over the years. My thoughts are with the family at this time. We will all have our individual memories of Bernie, and I am luckier than most by having so many. Cllr A. Clive Williams MBE
