POOLE Edward (Ted) Philip Peacefully on 7th February 2017 at the Waverley Care Centre, Penarth, Edward (Ted) Poole aged 89. Beloved husband of Audrey, dearly-loved father of James and Sara and father-in-law of Ruth and Gareth, devoted Grandad of Edward and wife Victoria, Stephen, Dyfrig and partner Heather, Michael and fiancee Stacey, Rhiannon and husband Joe, Megan, Sarah-Jayne and partner Will, much-loved Great Grandad of Luca, Elias, Mia and Gruffudd. Appreciation to the Waverley staff for helping him to feel comfortable and at home throughout his stay. Resting at James Summers and Son, Lavernock Road, Penarth CF64 5UP until the funeral service at Trinity Methodist Church, Penarth, on Thursday 23rd February at 2.45pm followed by cremation at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired, to Penarth Lifeboat Appeal, c/o Buddy Thompson, 47 Sullivan Close, Penarth.
