GALEY Irene Florence (Penny) Peacefully on 13th August 2018, at Morel Court Penarth, aged 97, Penny; widow of Geoffrey, to whom she was devoted. Penny enjoyed many successes in her long and happy life, achieving the rank of Squadron Officer (Squadron Leader) during her WRAF career and, among many activities, served as Honorary Treasurer of the Penarth Ladies Lifeboat Guild from 1984-1999. She will be sadly missed by her many friends. Resting at James Summers Funeralcare, Lavernock Road, Penarth CF64 5UP until the funeral service in celebration of her life at St Augustine's Church on Wednesday 5th September at 12.45pm followed by cremation at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry. Donations in lieu of flowers to R.N.L.I, Penarth Lifeboat Station, The Esplanade, Penarth CF64 3AU.
