CRUEL INTENTIONS 2 - Manchester Prep is the 'prequel' follow up to Cruel Intentions, but it lacks all the finesse of its predecessor.

Like many follow ups, it suffers from an extremely weak script and a boring plot, and pretty much hangs on glossy sex scenes and glamorous women.

Whereas the first film used already popular Hollywood actors Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon, Cruel Intentions 2 uses less well-known actors who just fail to set the screen alight.

These actors are Robin Dunne (Dawson's Creek) as Sebastian, newcomer Amy Adams (Drop Dead Gorgeous) as Kathryn, and Sarah Thompson as new character Danielle.
