DRAG QUEEN extraordinaire Ceri Dupree takes on Penarth next month in a glamorous new show at the Paget Rooms.
Local man Dupree, of Plymouth Road, has received rave reviews for his impressions of female icons from Madonna to Mae West.
The Ceri Dupree Show runs from Wednesday, November 7 until Friday, November 9.
The lavish spectacle follows the success of last year's touring show, The Full Diamonte, in which Dupree impersonated 21 women including Marlene Dietrich, Macy Gray and Camilla Parker Bowles.
Penarth is just one stop on a whirlwind tour, with other dates in Wales including Swansea Grand Theatre, the Grand Pavilion Porthcawl, the Entertainments Centre in Llanelli and The Parc and Dare Treorchy.
With Dupree's unbelievable singing voice, fabulous stage presence and fantastic comedy, there is no doubt his Penarth audiences will be entertained.
And that's not even mentioning the thousands of pounds worth of brilliant costumes which glitter and sparkle with a life of their own, plus outrageous wigs.
This year's characters will also include Tina Turner, Catherine Zeta Jones, Shania Twain and Nana Mouskouri.
Also part of the line-up is Dupree's portrayal of Pamela Anderson, with a red swimsuit so tight and so severely high cut it just leaves the audience asking how it's done!
The show includes a live band. It is likely to be a sell out and it is advisable to book on 029 2023 0130.
l Want to see what the artist is like before the show? A television series entitled 'Ceri Dupree Unfrocked' is to be broadcast on Friday nights from October 26.
