CD Review: Kylie Minogue's Fever

GRAB your glitterball, power up the flashing lights and slip on some platforms - Kylie Minogue's new album Fever has arrived in a discomania frenzy.

The Princess of Pop's album-topping creation launches with More More More, an original tune which will have you dancing before you know it.

And watch out Saturday Night Fever! When it comes to track two, Love At First Sight dance routines are the name of the game. A very lively throwback to the 70s kind of tune.

Reputation precedes Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Britain's number one song for weeks. This is a fantastic, catchy song which never fails to get people moving. It's followed by Fever, a sexy little tune, great for singing along to.

Track five, Give it to me, is another funky track, while Fragile is a beautiful song with gentle and sweet-sounding vocals, but still displaying that trademark disco beat.

Come into my world can only be described as a ballad with disco undertones, while In your eyes is very energetic. Dance floor is pretty self-explanatory - get your gladrags on and shake that booty!

Love affair is romantic with a lively beat, while Your love, the least disco-fuelled track on the album, sees some strong vocals.

Sadly, the final track, Burning up, is a bit weak for what should be the album's final crescendo, but it's still fairly enjoyable, even if a bit repetitive.
