PC Game Review: Red Alert

Command and Conquer - Red Alert: PC CD-ROM

A superb instalment in the 'Command and Conquer' story, 'Red Alert' is probably one of the best follow-ups to any game for some time.

'Red Alert' places you back fighting the 'NOD' alliance.

However, this time the 'NOD' alliance is in the form of Russians and you play the Allies. The game offers some interesting new options including, MIGS, spies, destroyers, submarines and much more.

Become more devious, cunning and ruthless than you have ever imagined in order to survive and quash the 'Soviet' forces.

As usual, the game offers superb graphics, intriguing game-play and an outstanding storyline.

You can play with friends across the net and create and trade your own battle maps with the editor, which is included.

The recommended age of 18-plus is worth following.

The specifications nee-ded to run the game are quite average, so most systems will be able to run the game.
