Miniatures Club helps gymnasts

THREE ladies from the local Miniatures Society visited Penarth Gymnastic Club to present a cheque for £320.

Sisters Eirlys and Elin Davies, together with Miss Jean Good, came to represent their club whose members make and exhibit fine miniatures, mainly dolls houses and their contents.

The Misses Davies were delighted to meet up with the gymnasts, many of whom they had once taught in junior school.

The gymnasts were equally thrilled to have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

The Miniatures Club is well known for their work in raising money each year for local charities.

This gift will enable the gym club to buy a new safety mattress and for this the children gave the ladies a rousing cheer.
