BUDDING rugby stars at Albert Road Primary had great fun this week learning all sorts of skills needed in the game.
The Year 4 boys and girls were being coached by John Williams, director of Capital Rugby - a scheme for youngsters devised by Cardiff Rugby Club.
The children will be taught by Mr Williams, with the help of their class teacher Miss Mears, over six weeks, learning rugby skills such as scrums and tackles.
Capital Rugby involves 127 junior schools across the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff, with courses lasting between four and six weeks.
