Cinema Review

WALT Disney add computer animation equals pure entertainment.

Well, that's been the case for the past five years with Toy Story one and two and A Bug's Life hitting the cinema screens, but now it's the time for Monsters, Inc to continue the success. Surely it can't go wrong.

Boasting possibly the greatest computer animation ever (apart from Final Fantasy), and unique voice talents such as John Goodman, Billy Crystal and Steve Buscemi, that is just the beginning of this box office smash.

OK, the film certainly has it's far share of cliches. Sulley's the big physical one while Mike is the short, smart and funny one, a bit like Buzz and Woody. The feeling of deja vu might make some adults feel a little bit unsatisfied but all the cliches work and besides, kids don't even know what cliches are?

The witty characters, the familiar settings, the wide eyed humans and the 'out takes' in the end, all add together to create a unique feel good feeling. Monsters, Inc offers something special for all generations so take my advice and go see it!
