THIS SUNDAY will see one of Wales' top comics celebrate St David's Day in style.
Noel James and friends will take to the stage at the Glee Club in Cardiff to host a Welsh comedy special in tribute to our patron saint.
He will perform his hit show from last year's Edinburgh Festival alongside fellow stand up Steve Best.
Noel is a boi bach from Pontardawe, near Swansea. A comedian often described as surreal, but more often as a 6ft Caucasian with blue eyes and brown hair ... on his fish. His material is entirely his own and encompasses the slapstick, observational, visual, satirical and of course the essential. He loves language, his influences ranging from John Lennon to Peter Cook, both masters of nonsense.
This show however, not being nonsense, is an updated version of his 2001 Edinburgh Festival hit show.
Sketches, monolgue, music and Japanese Godzilla Spinning (amongst other things) all go to make up a 90-minute comedy extravaganza.
It is guaranteed to have you laughing not only in the aisles but in the Glee Club's fancy wash rooms.
Come all you comedic puritans and all you in need of a good laugh, he says - put your money where your mouth is and purse your lips!
