THE CHINESE State Circus is coming to town and we have a £1,000 worth of family tickets to give away.
Arriving in Sophia Gardens on Wednesday, March 27, and running until April 6, the circus will start its British tour in Wales with a special Easter show in Cardiff.
The new show, features 30 of China's leading circus artists, and these performers are the David Beckhams of the circus world.
The two-hour spectacular features many breathtaking acts including the traditional Lion Dance, unbelievable contortionists who can tie themselves in knots, sensational acrobats and a cavalcade of Kung Fu.
To say The Chinese State Circus is merely a show is to grossly underestimate it. It is the embodiment of a traditional art form. The presentation lives and breathes with the enthusiasm of its acrobats whose lives centre around their performance. The result is the purist, most honest and exhilarating circus you will ever see!
All readers have to do to grab a chance to see the extravaganza is answer the question, fill in the coupon featured in this week's Times and send it to Sue Vincent-Jones at the Barry and District News, 156 Holton Road, Barry, CF63 4TY, no later than March 21, at 5pm.
* The Chinese State Circus will be appearing at: Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, March 27 to April 6. Performances at 5pm and 8pm Monday to Friday, 2pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Monday. Admission £8-£20 adults. Reduced admission for concessions.
