Shame on you

I WRITE in response to the letter in the Penarth Times from Mr Roger Golding, regarding the Windsor arcade doors.

The doors to the St David's centre in Cardiff are far more easily seen (or not, depending on how you consider it) as they are of heavily tinted darkened glass and are set in obvious doorways. Were they of clear glass and highly dangerous, could he please be adult enough to remember one should never attempt to justify something that is wrong by arguing that somebody else does it?

He is obviously incapable of empathy with the elderly, very young or disabled.

People walking into doors is not often publicised and I'm sure that those who have collided with doors will apologise to him for not informing him personally.

The planning officers of the local authority have remarkably flexible bounds to their duties and their track record leaves a great deal to be desired in many respects.

Interestingly, this gentleman lives in St Andrews Major but refers to "our" town.

I do not remember Penarth's boundaries being extended that far.

Lastly, Mr Andrews - "well done"? "Shame on you", surely?
