What welfare?

IN LAST week's Penarth Times, Lorraine Barrett called for a fox-hunting ban, and the Times also stated that she is the chairman of the all-party animal welfare group.

If she is so interested in saving foxes and the welfare of animals, why are she and Alan Michael allowing the foxes, wild animals and ancient hedgerows with birds and nests to be destroyed on land at Old Cogan farm, for 400-500 houses to be built which, when completed, will cause more problems for Penarth with traffic congestion and air pollution?

Soon we shall be a town with no green fields, just traffic and houses.
