AFTER what was weeks of debate on the future of Sully Hospital, I'm surprised that everything has gone so quiet. What exactly is going on at the Home Office? When we will find out what's happening?

A total of 750 people being dumped in Sully is a big difference to what we've got now. What will they do?

I think we have a Christian duty to accommodate people who have been through such awful experiences as these refugees, but surely we should provide them with somewhere appropriate? I hardly think putting them in an old hospital on the outskirts of a village is a good idea. They would feel awful there, I'm sure, locked away from any other people.

There must be a better place somewhere in the UK. Where, I don't know, but Sully is not the answer.
