REMEMBER that hilarious film where an unlucky youngster was caught in an awkward position with an apple pie?
Yes? Then you'll appreciate its follow-up, American Pie 2, out to buy now. It is jam-packed with comedy and again features the same talented line-up of young - and not so young - actors.
This time Jim (Jason Biggs) and his friends Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Stifler (Seann William Scott), Oz (Chris Klein) and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) are reuniting after their first year at college and make a pact to have the 'best summer of their lives'.
Kevin arranges for them to go to a holiday home alongside Lake Michigan where they can meet lots of sexy girls and throw great parties.
But as usual, things don't go according to plan and the boys are often left in situations that make you laugh so much you cry.
There is an awful situation with super glue, a dodgy scene with lesbians and another cracking scene starring Stifler's Mom.
Eugene Levy is once again brilliant as Jim's dad, Tara Reid is great as 'she got sexy' Vicky, Mena Suvari is on top form as Oz's girlfriend Heather, while Shannon Elizabeth gets the top prize for the worst foreign accent as Nadia.
But leading the way with the girls is Alyson Hannigan as Michelle, who Jim has not seen since that cringe-worthy post-prom scene in American Pie. She is brilliant and brings with her the most repeated line of the film 'this one time. .. at band camp'.
This is a fantastic film with plenty of new jokes, great scenes and brilliant acting.
