CD Review: Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come

AFTER a two-year break from the music industry Celine Dion is back with a sizzling new album A New Day Has Come.

It kicks off with I'm Alive which is full of spirit and has a party rhythm and strong vocals. A New Day Has Come, Celine's current big hit, is symbolic of her return to the charts after her time off to have a baby.

I Surrender is atmospheric with strong vocals that are full of effort.

At Last contains violin and piano solos and is rather like a song that would be performed on stage at an expensive restaurant. Sorry for Love is a lively song which yet again centres on that four letter word.

Track 16, is the full length version of A New Day Has Come.

The album ends with Nature Boy, a gentle version of this well-known song.

Celine's latest offering is full of soul, strength and sassiness and has landed her back in the UK charts with a firm punch.
