Champion of the future

A BUDDING Penarth boxer smashed through '12 bouts' last Friday to claim victory.

Nathan Jones, of Penarth Amateur Boxing Club, took part in '12 Bouts of Boxing' last Friday at Cogan Leisure Centre.

The event, hosted by his club, saw him winning a bout against Shane McIntyre of Pontypool ABC to claim his victory.

He was presented with a winner's trophy by Paul Smith of SHS Scaffolding which sponsored the bout.
