What a year

MAY I through the medium of your paper offer my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the schools, clubs, organisations and groups for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to Colin and myself during my year of office as Town Mayor.

We are very fortunate to have so many people in our community with such a wide variety of gifts and talents coupled with the desire to share them. The willingness of people to give generously of their time, labour and knowledge for the benefit of others is very inspiring and a joy to experience.

Working with my two nominated charities, the Penarth and District Stroke Support Group and Home Access Trust, is rewarding and fun and I would like to praise and thank all those who work so tirelessly for them. It has been a memorable year. Thank you all.
