I AM writing to express my disgust at your coverage of the tragic death of Mr Kenneth Farr ('Barrier kills dad', May 16, 2002).

I am sure I am not alone in not wanting to see the picture of Mr Farr's car, and to include the words of his young daughter was so distressing to hear.

I can imagine that your insensitive coverage of this awful event has added to the family's grief and made readers feel that this kind of reporting should be reserved for the daily tabloids.

A bit of compassion in future should be shown towards the families concerned.
