Kind ladies

ON JUNE 7, together with my wife and daughter, I was invited to attend a jubilee celebration that was organised by the Albert Road Keep Fit Ladies.

We had a lovely meal, raffle prizes and entertainment.

The Keep Fit Ladies have been meeting in Albert Primary School for many years and as caretaker of this school I have been able to enjoy their company for the last 13 years.

I will be retiring in July and the ladies presented my wife and me with tributes, by way of thanking us for looking after them.

We would like to thank the ladies for those fabulous presents and say that we will miss our Sunday evening meetings.

A lot of people do not realise just how much charitable work that these ladies have carried out over the years. Many people have benefited from their tireless efforts.

Once again we should like to thank you all for everything and wish you good luck and God bless in the future.
