Filthy habit

AS A reader of The Penarth Times and also a dog owner, could I reassure Earnest Watkins (June 20) that he is not alone in his squalor of back lane dog mess.

We also have the benefit of some kind owner(s) letting their dog foul Jubilee Lane without clearing up. Perhaps the people concerned would like to consider the children and adults who have to dodge this mess, as well as the slippery danger to myself as a daily motorcycle commuter.

Rest assured, should I witness this act of lazy filth I would be glad to discuss the merits of faecal removal by responsible owners. Even a swift kick of the offending pile to the side would be better than no effort at all!
