Fair thanks

ALBERT Primary School PTA recently held its annual summer fair, and the event had a Continental flavour to celebrate the end of the school's very enjoyable European Week.

The committee is very grateful to the many local businesses that supported us either by sponsoring space in the programme or by donating raffle prizes. Parents and friends of the school were also very generous, and the grand total raised was £1,535.16.

Sadly the sun did not shine on us but the downpour did not dampen our enthusiasm and everyone had a good time. Thanks again to the ever-supportive pupils, staff, parents and friends of Albert School.
