Lane mess

AS A reader of the Penarth Times and also a dog owner, could I just reassure Ernest Watkins (Your Letters, June 20) that he is not alone in his squalor of back lane dog mess.

We also have the benefit of some kind owner(s) letting their dog foul Jubilee Lane without clearing up after them. Perhaps the people concerned would like to consider the children and adults that have to dodge their way through this mess as well as the added slippery danger to myself as a daily motorcycle commuter.

Rest assured, if I should witness this act of lazy filth I would be glad to discuss the merits of faecal removal by responsible owners. Even a swift kick of the offending pile to the side would be better than no effort at all!
