CD Review

WHILE many true jazz fans could argue that this double CD misses some of the greats, there is no doubt 'The Very Best of Smooth Jazz' is excellent.

From Bill Withers easing the listener into the first CD with 'Ain't No Sunshine' to the instrumental 'Biggest Part of Me' by Take 6 rounding it all off, the two CDs will mellow you out.

The incredibly sexy Nina Simone croons out 'Feelin' Good' and Curtis Mayfield belts out the rousing 'Move On Up'. There are even a few on there that can be remembered from adverts. And if you can't place them, don't worry, because they tell you where they're from on the cover.

With 40 smooth tracks in total, this is a cracking choice. It's not easy to dance to the music, unless you know your partner well - or would like to know them better! Without doubt, 'The Very Best of Smooth Jazz' is definitely a good idea to add to your collection.
