Flex your pecs for a model job

PENARTH'S hunkiest men are being challenged to flex their pecs and enter a nationwide modelling competition.

Pink Lady apples is giving all 'wannabe' models the chance to be the new face of model agency MOT, one of the best-established agencies in the UK.

The competition, launched in association with Hot Stars Magazine, hopes to find a guy with a face to remember as it searches for a gorgeous man to strike a pose for the camera. All they need are two simple colour photographs (head and shoulders shot and a full-length image) from local men.

The winner of the competition, who will be chosen on September 30, will win a year's contract with the model agency MOT, first photographs for his portfolio and £500-worth of clothes from top men's fashion website www.otoko.co.uk

Former Stanwell School pupil Owain Porter, 18, who will soon be taking a gap year in Australia, said: "I've never thought about modelling. I'm not sure if I'd enter a competition, but you never know."

MOT models has over 17 years of experience and 200 models on the books. It's the ideal agency for an aspiring model to gain experience.

Some of their current models have championed campaigns for well-known fashion leaders such as Nicole Fahri and Max Factor.

Pink Lady apples is one of the fastest growing apple brands in the UK.

If you would like to enter yourself or someone you know for the competition, you can send for an application form with an SAE to Pink Lady Apples / MOT Models Male Model Competition, c/o The YES Consultancy, 28 Bruton Street, London, W1J 6QW
