Happy days are here again at Rectory Road

HAPPY DAYS are here again at Penarth Lawn Tennis Club in Rectory Road.

The summer holidays mean that the ever popular Camp Days and Junior Rating Days are now back in full swing and the children are going to have a great time. This is the third year that the club has run these events during the holidays and if previous years are anything to go by there is going to be a lot of fun to be had by all.

The camp days are from 9am until 4pm every Tuesday and Wednesday and cover a wide range of sports and activities for boys and girls. You can be a complete beginner, a budding Leyton Hewitt or Venus Williams, anyone can come along and join in, but you do need to be over eight.

The Ratings Day are for those players with a LTA rating who would like to play with other children of the same ability and stand the chance to improve their rating over the summer holidays. The Division 7 days are on Thursdays August 8, 15, 22, 29 and the Division 6 days are on Fridays 9, 16, and 30.

There is a tuck shop selling drinks, sweets and chocolates but it is recommended that children bring a packed lunch, plenty to drink and some sun cream.

All these days are open to members and non-members, for further information please contact club coach John Williams on 0779 6935609 or call in to the clubhouse and pick up a leaflet.
