Sponsor local runner in marathon

LOCAL RUNNER Ian Spilsbury will be running in the Cardiff Marathon on Sunday, September 1.

Ian is hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Marie Curie Cancer Centre at Holme Tower, Penarth.

Many readers will be aware of the excellent care provided by the dedicated staff at the centre and any money raised will help to continue this valuable work.

Anyone who is able to sponsor Ian can do so either by calling in at the Marie Curie shop on Windsor Road, Penarth or by phoning 01873 303011.

Your support on the day would be very much appreciated. The race will be coming through Penarth Marina between about 8.30am and 9am.
