Dinas Lawn Tennis Club Junior Tournament

FOLLOWING the success of various activities at Dinas Powys LTC in 2002, one of the main weeks in the junior diary is the annual club tournament.

With more than 20 events and 140-plus competitors aged 3-17, the tournament week was a huge success.

The climax came with the finals on Saturday, following by a family barbecue and presentations in the evening, with trophies presented by Vice President Bill Keeling and Club President Dr Alun Bater.

The junior captains Frankie Smith and Eric Brodbin responded with help from some of the club's younger members highlighting the year so far.

Special thanks to Jan and Dave Cunningham, the junior committee and all the volunteers who worked so hard.
