Bay is filthy

I WOULD like to express my disgust at the Cardiff Bay Development Company for creating the downright filthy, inconvenient monstrosity which is Cardiff Bay.

Not only is the bay a stinking cesspool which attracts the most unimaginable menagerie of foul creatures, but it has also played a major part in destroying several traditional pastimes.

I am a keen fisherman and, as many of your readers will know, an integral part of the aforementioned pastime is digging for bait.

I have now been forced to dig in the wholly more dangerous and unpredictable territory of the Bristol Channel since that stagnant pond has destroyed the fertile digging ground that was the mud flats.

And, as an aside, when was the last time you saw any youngsters from Grangetown emerging from the Taff estuary covered in mud, after successfully navigating the muddy short cut?
