IN HIS letters, Mr Evans (Insulted- Letters extra, August 22) is clearly incapable of recognising that there are other viewpoints about Sully Hospital than his.

I represent four groups of patients and am only too happy to work with groups like Mr Wallis', that seek better health care services and better use of existing NHS assets.

We have no hidden agenda- as Mr Evans suggests - and the only interest we serve are those of the NHS patients.

The only interests Mr Evans serves are those of his paymaster, Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust, who have persistently failed to replace beds that they have closed with the hospitals that housed them.

Mr Evans should be directing his rhetoric towards getting the Trust to solve the problem.
