Wild cats

IN REPLY to a letter in your paper dated August 22, headed 'Never Too Old,' I would just like to point out that the Reservoir Cats are not Ray Thompson's group.

The Reservoir Cats are fast becoming one of the hottest rockin' bands at home and abroad. I have been following the group since they formed a few years ago and I'm sure the boys would be deeply offended at being called someone else's group (especially in the league mentioned, in my opinion).

If you or your readers want verification of this red hot band, you can catch them locally when the Reservoir roller coaster hits the Pilot on October 18. Who knows, you may even see Chuck Berry's uncle or Eddie Cochran's niece in the audience, 'diggin' the rhythm' and checking out this wild band all the way from Louisiana, Penarth and Ynys y Barri! PS - I think the singer is a relation of Perkins - Dorothy not Carl - Ha Ha!
