Constructive

With reference to the letter Stop Whinging, published on September 12, what a way to debate, calling others whingers.

It is a shame that John Evans was unable to respond to Graham Cotton when he refuted his arguments (August 22), but resorted to name calling. Incidentally, my four patient groups are not funded by anyone, as I devote my time and efforts freely to these causes, at my own expense.

It's clear that Sully Hospital was closed on false pretenses. The cost of refurbishing the building and wards was less than the millions spent at Whitchurch and on relocating services from Sully.

Also, Cardiff Royal Infirmary has been reopened, due to public pressure, and the need for rehabilitation beds. In addition, a large day hospital is planned on the site.

The Vale of Glamorgan is getting little, unless Sully is reopened for rehabilitation beds and day care.

Surely, that's constructive argument, not whinging.
