Poor pavements (From Penarth Times)

Poor pavements

A comment was made about the state of the path leading down to the beach. I would like to make a comment about the state of pavements in Penarth.

They can only be described as at best, dangerous and at worst, given the elderly population of Penarth, potential death traps.

Perhaps someone from the council would care to comment or better still, use this forum to explain why this situation has been allowed and to assure readers that they will take appropriate and quick action to remedy this.

In addition to the poor state of pavements, the lighting in some streets is no better than the early years of the last century.
