We'll miss you

VICKY Edwards was the founder of the Doves Centre in Penarth - a drop-in centre for the mentally ill.

In her capacity as manager, Vicky helped more mentally ill people than any single psychiatrist and provided a sanctuary full of love and understanding as well as the hope that stigmatisation might cease to exist one day.

All of us who have been blessed by her love and empathy are distressed that she has been placed in a position where she was obliged to resign her position with Mind in the Vale.
