Thanks lads

ALL THE residents of Dock Street in Cogan, would like to thank Penarth Fire Brigade for rescuing a six-month-old black kitten on Sunday, August 8. The cat was stuck at the top of a telegraph pole after being chased by a dog.

After many phone calls to various people, including BT (they owned the pole) and the RSPCA (who are supposed to be here to help animals in need), it was left to the fire service to save the day!

Thanks lads, at least someone cares.

The kitten, named Joe, is now safely back with his family in Cogan.
