Taxi is tiptop

MAY I, through your paper, offer my sincere gratitude to the excellent service provided by Penarth Taxi firm- K Tax.

I had booked a taxi to meet me at Bristol airport for a return flight from Dublin on the evening of Monday, September 16. As we were about to board, we were told the flight was cancelled and we would be rescheduled on another.

Mike, from K Tax, was already on his way by the time I was able to contact them. We were rescheduled some hours later to a flight to Heathrow, with a connecting coach to Bristol. K Tax assured me that Mike would stay there and wait. Six and a half hours after we were originally meant to meet Mike, we did. He met us with a smile and said: "Well I couldn't leave you stranded could I?"

In this day of poor customer service, I believe K Tax offered a superb service, over and above the call of duty. I know they must have lost business honouring an agreement with a customer.
