CD review

THE SUGABABES' new album Angels With Dirty Faces is a surprisingly sexy offering from three such young songsters.

The first track Freak Like Me has enjoyed lots of radio attention, taking the effective backing from the 1980s hit Are Friends Electric, and the rest of the CD is no disappointment.

Along with the other track Round Round that was released and sounds great, the remaining 12 are excellent. With the co-operation of world renowned artist Sting, the girls' cover of Shape sees them putting their own slant on it without ruining the original track, and their Breathe Easy; Acoustic Jam is simple, harmonic and quite beautiful. From first to last, this album is mature and entertaining.
