Classic dancers make their pointe

ON SATURDAY, November 2, the world renowned Moscow Ballet will perform Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake at the Memorial Hall Theatre, Barry.

The Memorial Hall Theatre is the only venue in South Wales to be hosting this enthralling production.

Always in demand, Moscow Ballet, La Classique, has recently thrilled ballet lovers across the world during their hugely successful tours of France, Spain, Japan, China,

Australia and Egypt, to name but a few. This talented company have deservedly gained vast international acclaim.

The Moscow Ballet of Classical Choreography, 'La Classique', was founded in 1990, utilising ballet dancers from the leading theatres of the CIS countries and the Bolshoi, Kirov and Ballet Theatres of Kiev and Odessa.

World-renowned soloists Evguenia Novikova, Natalie Petrova, Albina Dmitrieva, Igor Stetsiour-Mova, Denis Pivovarov and Vladimir Novikov lead the Moscow Ballet Company under the direction of Elik Melikov.

The performance starts at 7.30pm, tickets are £15 and £10 for concessions, available on 01446 738622.
