CD review of Ms Dynamite 'A little Deeper'

CD review

WHO could say they had heard of Ms Dynamite before last year? Hardly many people. But who can say they haven't heard of her now?

This young black woman has burst onto the music scene in a big way, and if her first album A Little Deeper is setting the tone for the rest of her career, we're going to hear from her for a lot longer.

At just 21-years-old, Ms Dynamite, or Niomi McLean-Daley, is the oldest of eleven brothers and sisters from North London. And listening to her lyrics on this album, she obviously cares deeply about her family as they grow up in a cynical world.

The two songs released from the album ms di-na-mi-tee and it takes more are easily the most commercial. Recorded in Miami, New York and Jamaica it is causing a huge hype around the music world.

And as she already has a host of awards under her belt, Ms Dynamite is proving she really is explosive.
