Broadband

FOR months now I have been contacting BT regarding Dinas Powys' inability to access Broadband Internet connection. Until 300 people request this service the local telephone exchange will not be upgraded, regardless of which ISP you use.

So far 69 people have registered an interest, so will 231 people in Dinas Powys please register with BT as soon as possible. All you do is go to www.BT.com/btbroadband/register and give your post code etc. There does not appear to be any commitment to BT required or any cost involved, although you should confirm this yourselves with BT.

Unless the residents of Dinas Powys are proactive we could be waiting years for this service which Penarth and many parts of Wales and the UK already enjoy.
