Sully Sharks find their teeth against Llantwit

SULLY COLTS Under-9s (Sully Sharks) are in their first season and last Saturday won their first match of the season after several close encounters.

They defeated Llantwit Major Seconds 2-1 in a real thriller played in wet and windy conditions at Burnham Avenue, Sully.

The goals came from man of the match Andrew Sims after good work down the right by Shannon Horrigan, and a fine left foot strike from Simon McKinley.

The Sharks defence played exceptionally well almost keeping a clean sheet for the first time this season, eventually conceding a goal late in the second half to a spirited and well drilled Llantwit team.
