Jamie sings for his supper

FORMER Penarth pupil and teen sensation Jamie Shaw is facing his toughest night on the hit ITV series 'Popstars: The Rivals'.

This Saturday, the six remaining songsters longing for a chance at stardom have to sing for their supper once more.

And at the end of the night one of them has to say 'good-bye'.

Despite the intense pressure, 17-year-old Jamie is keeping his cool. He said: "We all learned from the girls last weekend.

They were so nervous, and it doesn't do you any good.

And whoever gets voted out this week is bound for success, having come this far."

The ex-St Cyres schoolboy will have a huge amount of support in the live audience the lads have to perform before.

His mum Cheryl and dad Adrian will be there, along with his grandparents, brothers and as many friends that can make it up to the studios.

"This Saturday is hugely important for all of us. But there's no point in worrying.

I just hope everyone from home gets behind me and gives me as much support as they have done up to now."
