Thank you

LAST week, at the Paget Rooms, Penarth, Changing Scene Dance Company staged their show, 'Season's Greetings' and may I begin by thanking you for the publicity provided by the Barry & District News and Penarth Times.

The company, although amateur, consists of some of the best of young talent from Barry, the Vale and the valleys and it was my privilege and pleasure to direct these wonderful young people.

In my considered opinion each and every one of them could be put on a West End stage and they would shine like the stars they are.

Unfortunately, as most of our friends and supporters know my husband David - who is always by my side and along with me gives so much of his time to our youngsters both in the writing and preparing of the shows - was, through illness not with us and he was greatly missed.

In truth, I don't know how the show would have reached the stage if it had not been for the help and support of a team of wonderful friends - too numerous to mention.

They are amongst the very best friends anyone could ask for and short of finding the highest mountain to stand on and sing their praises for the love and support - gifts, flowers and cards, they gave to my family during David's illness.

I cannot think of a better way to say how much you all mean to me than by saying a big thank you on this page.
