Head shave

ON Saturday 16th November a sponsored headshave took place at the Cogan Pub, to raise funds for the Joshua Foundation, who give children with terminal cancer holidays and life experiences.

Claire Horwood who attends St Cyres School and is 16 is taking part in the Oz Experience 2003 she needs to raise £2000.

Her dad Mark was sponsored, and with an extra collection made on the night Steve the landlord also agreed to have his headshaved.

£301.83 was raised on the night but there is more to come when sponsor money is collected.

Thank you to Steve and Vicki and all at the Cogan Pub for their help and support, thank you those who donated raffle prizes.

Thanks to Karen Dennison for relieving the boys of their hair.
