Big thanks

AS REPORTED in the Penarth Times recently, Albert Primary School completed the installation of a new library during the summer of 2002.

To help the school buy new books for the library, the PTA pledged a total of £3,000 during the year. However, books are expensive, and so the PTA also appealed to local businesses for further funds.

The following firms were kind enough to make donations: Alan G Fraser, PAT Enterprises Ltd, TR Vale and Son, Penfoel Dental Practice, ACJ Executive Property Services, Osmond Drake Opticians and Source of Beauty. We are especially grateful to Evans & Hailes & Dean Opticians, Warburtons Bakers and Robert Smith Cars Ltd for their very generous gifts.

With donations from individuals, a total of £675 was raised and the PTA committee would like to thank everyone for their kindness.
