CD review 'Now that's what I call music'

NOW THAT'S What I Call Music! 53 is out on the shelves, crammed with hits.

Many of the songs on the double CD are still hovering around in the charts, or at least have barely left, and they are all pretty much guaranteed to get your feet tapping.

Over both CDs there are 43 tracks covering all music types from DJ Sammy and Yanou featuring Do with Heaven to Coldplay's In My Place.

Whether you want the upbeat Sugababes or the more mellow Ronan Keating, the R 'n' B sounds of Ms Dy-Na-Mi-Tee or the chilled out Starry Eyed Surprise of Oakenfold, this album offers a fairly varied selection of music.

All the favourites are there, like Kylie Minogue, Oasis, U2, Kelly Llorenna and even a quick blast of that seemingly timeless band Status Quo! Have they ever let a year go by without braving the charts?

This is a good, solid compilation CD with a nice level of easy listening, perfect for putting on as background music.
